THE 'JOANNE' PROJECT
In 2023, the loss of a hard drive containing five years of my creative archive served as an unexpected catalyst. Rather than dwelling on unrecoverable files, I chose to channel that energy into fresh momentum. This pivot led to my latest self-initiated work: a visual reinterpretation of Lady Gaga's "Joanne."
Drawing from traditional Americana typography and Western visual codes, I set out to reimagine the album's aesthetic. The design introduces a modern perspective on the era's iconic pink hat, blending AI-generated visual explorations with a rich, custom iconography system to build a cohesive and deeply personal visual narrative.
